Abridge flips this by capturing the clinical conversation directly and turning it into structured notes in real time, fully embedded inside Epic. No humans in the loop. It works across specialties, care settings, and health systems, and it’s already in use by over 150 enterprise customers. Clinician retention is over 90 percent, which is almost unheard of in enterprise software.

The numbers speak for themselves. In five months, Abridge grew its contracted ARR from $50M to $117M as of March 2025. That kind of growth, at this scale, puts them in the top percentile of SaaS companies. Their Kaiser Permanente rollout alone reaches 25,000 doctors and over 600 clinics. What makes the story even stronger is the team. Shiv Rao is a practicing cardiologist who built the company he wished he had. Zack Lipton brings academic rigor and world-class AI research depth.
